Electronics Design

Experienced electronics engineering for medical and wellness devices — from architecture through PCB layout and beyond.

Electronics That Work in the Real World.

Medical and wellness device hardware has to do more than function on the bench. It has to hold up through validation, support your regulatory documentation, and be manufacturable at scale.

At C3, we work on every aspect of electronics design — including component selection, architecture, schematic capture, and PCB layout — with the full development lifecycle in mind. With over 25 years of experience designing hardware for medical and wellness applications, we know what holds up and what falls apart between prototype and production.

You work directly with experienced engineers who take ownership of the work and stay engaged from first concept through design release.

Electronics We've Built.

Blood Processing Capital Equipment

C3 designed the electronics, firmware, and touchscreen interface for an advanced blood product processing system built against an aggressive timeline. The system managed a series of sensors, pumps, and motors to collect critical blood products for pharmaceutical use. Safety monitoring, high-speed ethernet connectivity, and remote control were core requirements — all delivered from scratch.

Wearable Neuromodulation Device

This wearable therapy device needed to be worn all day, including in the shower, while delivering a precise scheduled stimulation protocol. C3 designed a novel stimulation circuit using all standard components, no ASIC required — keeping the design manufacturable and cost-effective without sacrificing performance.

Connected Handheld Nebulizer

An existing nebulizer platform needed to be updated for modern expectations: portable, handheld, and wirelessly connected. C3 assessed the original design for obsolescence risks, selected a forward-looking architecture, and added BLE connectivity along with tuning and patient monitoring features.

A simple, flexible path forward.

Hardware Designed for the Full Lifecycle

We design with validation, manufacturability, and regulatory documentation in mind from the start — not as an afterthought.

Support That Doesn't Disappear at Launch

We offer long-term engineering support beyond design release, including updates, improvements, and ongoing technical partnership as your product evolves.

How We Approach Electronics Design.

Architecture First

Every engagement starts with a clear technical foundation: the right components, the right topology, and a design strategy built around your device's real-world requirements.

Disciplined Engineering Practices

We follow documented, repeatable processes that produce design packages ready for validation and regulatory review — not just a working prototype.

Built to Be Manufactured

We design with production in mind, so the transition from prototype to manufacturable product doesn't require starting over.
