Meet Craig Carder
Craig founded C3 in 2009 with a clear vision: to build a medical device development partner rooted in care, collaboration, and confidence.
He brings more than 25 years of engineering expertise and holds graduate degrees in both Biomedical and Electrical Engineering. Under his leadership, C3 has delivered projects for major medical device companies like Medtronic and Abbott, partnered directly with top universities including Harvard, MIT, and Yale, and served hundreds of startups, assisting with everything from mentorship to FDA product approval. Today, he leads a full-service team across hardware, firmware, cloud, and mobile, and champions AI and machine learning to help clients improve diagnostics, personalize treatment, and deliver better patient outcomes.
Meet Eydis Lima
Eydis is an engineer and entrepreneur focused on solving real clinical challenges in women's health. She bridges complex engineering and human-centered design to develop wearables, medical devices, and software as a medical device (SaMD).
She is also the founder of Curiva, where she is commercializing the diaPatch™, a non-invasive wearable patch that delivers molecular results and reduces the long, uncertain wait women face between an abnormal Pap smear and a colposcopy. Eydis brings more than 12 years across the life sciences, including research at Yale on the ovarian cancer therapeutic cantrixil, now advancing toward Phase II trials with Vivesto. She holds a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She was named an Entrepreneur of Impact 2026 finalist.
